Everyone Seems To Love Panda Bears!

These sweet creatures are found only in the central mountains of China. Pandas live in bamboo and coniferous forests at altitudes of 5,000 to 10,000 feet. Scientists estimate that there are fewer than 1,000 giant pandas left in the wild. Pandas are bear like in shape with striking black and white markings. The ears, eye patches, legs and shoulder band are black; the rest of the body is mostly white. Pandas have thick coats to insulate them from the cold. They do not hibernate in winter, so this coat serves them well.
